    Assisted E-Stop system
The IDEC Assisted E-STOP System combines the familiar operation of a conventional emergency stop switch with an optional activation assist function. In addition to manual operation, the Assisted E-STOP can be activated by applying an external 24V DC signal, allowing the E-stop button to be physically actuated and latched without direct hand operation. Once activated, the E-stop remains latched and must be manually reset at the device before operation can resume, helping support on-site safety confirmation before restart. This added flexibility makes the Assisted E-STOP well suited for applications where equipment may be moving, remote, automated, or difficult to approach.
