IDEC HW Series Switches

IDEC would like to inform you of upcoming design updates to the HW Series Switches. These changes are intended to improve installation flexibility and simplify assembly while maintaining the same product functionality, electrical ratings, and certifications.

Since June 15, 2026, the HW series has been transitioning to a new design featuring standardized operator designs for both screw terminal and push-in terminal types, along with redesigned connecting units and full voltage adapters that simplify installation.

Products shipped may already include the new design. Despite these design updates, there are no changes to pricing, product functionality, electrical ratings, certifications, or ordering part numbers for complete assembled switches.

Important Points:

• Since June 15, 2026, shipments have been transitioning to the updated design. During this transition period, you may receive either the previous or updated design depending on inventory availability.

• Complete assembled switch part numbers will remain unchanged. However, some individual BOM component part numbers will be updated. Please download the list of affected part numbers for additional details

This announcement provides important information regarding the HW series design changes that began on June 15, 2026. Additional information, including video tutorials and supporting materials, will be provided in future communications.
