Get to know the IDEC Group: IDEC Controls India Private Limited

This time, our interviewee was IDEC India technical support manager Vijay Buddharaju. (This post follows our previous interview with Vijay about his own role and experience.)

IDEC Controls India Private Limited is a relatively new company within the IDEC Group. In a short space of time, the team has grown to include experts in sales and marketing, customer service, and technical support.

IDEC Controls India Private Limited was incorporated in early 2020, to serve and support customers on the Indian sub-continent.

In India, IDEC is focusing on the automotive, machine tools, and warehouse automation industries.

We offer solutions such as:

• the FT2J PLC+HMI,

• the KW2D smart RFID reader,

• Safety Wheel Drive,

• the HS5D and HS5L safety interlock switches, and

• emergency stop switches (e-stops).

These types of products are unique offerings to each industry.

In India, IDEC’s most sold products are HMI solutions. Customers are also increasingly considering e-stops and safety interlock switches for their unique safety features.

For the majority of customers, the key priority is safety – something that IDEC addresses with a strong product portfolio. The most common feedback we receive is that our products are unique, rugged, and of excellent quality.

In India, IDEC differentiates itself with globally trusted safety components, ergonomic enabling switches, and user-friendly HMI solutions tailored for flexible, collaborative manufacturing.

I work closely with customers to deliver complete business solutions while sharing market feedback with the IDEC team to help shape new product features, and I truly value being part of a global organization that offers the opportunity to collaborate across diverse cultures.
