Since 1958, IDEC has developed control switches that provide users with the highest levels of safety and reliability. The latest addition to our family of industrial control switches, with diecast zinc mounting threads, the TWND series of 30mm switches is a complete line of non-illuminated and illuminated pushbuttons, non-illuminated and illuminated selector switches, key selector switches, pilot lights and E-stops. This heavy-duty switch is designed to be used in harsh industrial environments including automotive, food and beverage, metal working, textile machinery, papermill, packaging machinery, farm and agriculture equipment, transportation and more. Users can rely on TWND switches to endure and last even in the toughest and most extreme environments, as these switches meet the highest standards for UL, TUV, CSA, CCC, and are also CE marked.

A traditional NEMA style switch, the TW series features a chrome plated octagonal locking ring that fastens from the front of the panel. Modular construction with snap-on contacts allows for great flexibility in configuration.Contacts are slow make, double break with a self-cleaning action that produces a wide switching range (from 5mA to 10A). Several screw terminal styles are available from the standard exposed full size M3.5 screw to a fingersafe (IP20) screw terminal (contacts are interchangeable with the HW series). Models include illuminated or non-illuminated pushbuttons, pilot lights, selectors, key switches, and Emergency Stop switches.

Building on a long history of pushbutton dominance, IDEC offers its internationally rated 22mm pushbuttons and pilot devices, the HW series. These IEC style devices feature tamperproof mounting and construction, modular stackable contact blocks with IP20 fingersafe screw terminals, and pure silver contacts with a self cleaning action. Models include illuminated and non-illuminated pushbuttons, pilot lights, selector switches, key switches, mono-levers, pushbutton-selectors, and Emergency Stop switches. Safety and ease of use were of paramount concern in the development of this line of switches, as evidenced by the simple mounting procedure, mechanically keyed safety lever lock (to prevent contact separation in heavy vibration applications), and wide variety of Emergency Stop models (all of which meet EN418). Unique to the HW series is the HW Unibody E-Stop, which features one piece construction that prevents tampering or incorrect mounting from hindering the functionality of the switch. Another first is the spring loaded captive screw terminals, which make ring terminal wiring easier than ever before.
