Remote I/O (Input/Output) systems are used to expand the control capabilities of central control systems by allowing devices to be connected over long distances. Instead of having all input and output devices (such as sensors, switches, motors, etc.) wired directly to a central PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or control system, remote I/O modules are placed close to the devices and connected back to the controller via communication protocols like EtherNet/IP or Modbus. This setup reduces cabling, simplifies installation, and allows for easy expansion of systems. Program and edit using either the on-board selection buttons and display interface, or our programming software, WindLGC.
