SX8R bus coupler module

PLCs can control a variety of input and output devices. A noticeable trend with the rise of IoT is a similar increase in the number of sensor inputs. The additional wires needed for more sensors can complicate both wiring setups and maintenance.

You can use remote I/Os – and the SX8R – to solve this problem. With remote I/Os, electrical inputs and outputs are converted to data and sent to the PLC via a network protocol.

SX5E industrial ethernet switch
