The MicroSmart FC6A series is available in two types of CPUs: Plus and All-in-One. The Plus type has a dual RJ45 Ethernet port, embedded web server functions and the capability to expand up to 2060 I/O, while the All-in-One type has an embedded serial port and RJ45 Ethernet port capable of expanding up to 520 I/O. The next generation IDEC MicroSmart FC6A Plus PLC stretches performance beyond micro PLC limits! With its 2,060 I/O capacity, this PLC can control large machines or entire small-scale manufacturing facilities, providing more capabilities for even the most demanding applications.MicroSmart FC6A Plus CPUs now support EtherNet/IP™ protocol and MQTT Sparkplug B.With the addition of industry-standard EtherNet/IP™ scanner capabilities, the FC6A Plus can now connect with, monitor, and control any I/O, variable speed drive, or other intelligent automation device using this popular industrial protocol. In addition, the FC6A Plus can be configured as an EtherNet/IP™ adapter, allowing it to interact with other peer and supervisory systems, such as PLCs and HMIs. The FC6A All-in-One CPU is a powerful micro PLC with up to 520 digital I/O and 126 analog I/O. Three models are available, each with 24V DC or 100-240V AC input power. The 16 I/O model has 9 inputs, and 7 relay or transistor outputs. The 24 I/O model has 14 inputs, and 10 relay or transistor outputs. The 40 I/O model has 24 inputs, and 16 relay or transistor outputs. Each model also includes an integral 0-10V DC analog input. The 16 and 24 I/O models can accommodate one plug-in cartridge, while the 40 I/O model can accommodate two plug-in analog cartridges.

All-in-One PLC and HMI: This compact yet powerful 4.3-inch all-in-one unit combines a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to deliver superior performance and functionality. With its dual CPU structure, it optimizes scan time for faster, more efficient processing. Advanced PLC Control Capabilities: The unit comes equipped with onboard I/O and offers expandable I/O options to meet various application needs. Built-in analog inputs and outputs provide seamless integration for complex control tasks. Designed to support advanced control features, the unit includes PID control, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), high-speed inputs, and script programming, giving you the flexibility to tackle a wide range of automation challenges. Intuitive Touchscreen Interface: The HMI side uses advanced Projected Capacitive (PCAP) technology, offering high visibility, durability, and functionality. It supports multi-touch gestures and is designed to prevent accidental inputs from water droplets, ensuring reliable operation in various environments. In addition to its robust hardware, the unit supports open communication protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and BACnet/IP, as well as IIoT features such as MQTT, making it ideal for modern industrial applications.

IDEC FT1A SmartAXIS controllers were designed with a focus to provide users with unique features and advanced functions for applications that require limited I/O. FT1A SmartAXIS controllers are available 12, 24, 40, and 48 I/O CPUs. The FT1A controllers are equipped with features that you can't find in any other competitors PLCs. 10A relay contacts, integrated analog inputs, embedded smart LCD/keypad, embedded Real-time clock, embedded RJ45 Ethernet port for remote connectivity and Modbus TCP communication, SD memory slot for data logging and many other features at a very competitive price.

Combining a PLC and HMI into a single platform gives many advantages for monitoring and controlling smaller machines, process skids, and HVAC systems. Advanced PLC Control Capabilities: With built-in full function controller features and functions, both onboard and expandable I/O, the FT2J Series comes with built-in analog inputs/outputs and enhanced PLC features, including PID, PWM control, multilingual capabilities, script programming and much more. Intuitive Touchscreen Interface: The HMI’s projected capacitive touch panel (PCAP) advanced technology—saves space while providing a smaller footprint and improves performance. This PCAP touch panel provides a high degree of visibility, durability, and functionality. In addition to being multi-touch, this PCAP touch panel is compatible with think gloves.

Many small scale applications such as simple machines could benefit by using a programmable graphical interface along with a discrete and analog controller and I/O, but don’t have the panel space or the budget for separate components. The FT1A SmartAXIS Touch address this need by combining operator interface and control in a single compact package, all programmable with IDEC’s PC-based software. The FT1A Touch is available in 12 I/O and 14 I/O configurations with analog I/O expansion capability suitable for advanced analog monitoring and control.
