Sustainability Month Is Underway
At the IDEC Group, October is designated each year as Sustainability Month, providing an opportunity for every employee to take ownership of sustainability and turn that awareness into meaningful action.
The theme for 2026 is:
“Step Forward for Better Quality and a Better World.”
Quality is the foundation of the IDEC Group's manufacturing excellence and the starting point for building trust with our customers and society. To further strengthen our quality culture, we have established the “10 Quality Golden Rules,” a common set of behavioral principles shared across the Group. These guidelines will be rolled out globally throughout Sustainability Month.
In addition, we will carry out a variety of initiatives across our domestic and overseas group companies, deepening engagement with diverse stakeholders, including employees, local communities, NGOs, and international organizations, while contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
Global Event: Walking Challenge 2026
Period: October 1 to October 31, 2026
Participants: IDEC Group companies worldwide
Overview: A global walking event designed to promote employee well-being and social contribution.
During the challenge, the IDEC Group will donate JPY 1 for every 1,000 steps walked by participating employees to Care International Japan, an international development NGO. This initiative connects each employee's daily steps not only to healthier lifestyles but also to efforts that help address social challenges around the world.
