Amagasaki Factory Receives Hyogo Labour Bureau Director’s Encouragement Award

On July 3, 2026, IDEC Corporation’s Amagasaki Factory received the Hyogo Labour Bureau Director’s Encouragement Award at the Occupational Safety and Health Awards Ceremony held in Kobe as part of Japan’s National Safety Week. The award recognizes workplaces that maintain high occupational safety and health standards and serve as model examples in improving workplace environments.

As a key IDEC Group production site for explosion protection products and systems, the Amagasaki Factory has continuously promoted occupational safety and health initiatives since operations began in 2013. The plant obtained ISO 45001 certification in 2019 and has enhanced workplace safety while reducing employee workload through improvement activities reflecting frontline feedback, including the introduction of AWD (Assist Wheel Drive) for transporting heavy materials. These efforts were highly recognized and led to this award.
