On May 15, 2026, the IDEC Group held a Sustainability Committee meeting, attended by executives from headquarters and major group companies worldwide.

The Committee is chaired by the Chairman and CEO, and consists of five specialized subcommittees focused on Environment (E), Social (S), Governance (G), as well as Safety (Sa) and Quality (Q), which are IDEC’s core strengths. It also includes a CSR Procurement function aimed at promoting sustainable procurement.

At this meeting, in accordance with the “Three-Year Sustainability Plan (FY2026–FY2028),” each subcommittee reported on its FY2026 results and FY2027 plans. Active discussions took place, including Q&A sessions, exchanges of opinions, and deliberations on highly effective initiatives.

In addition, from the perspective of business continuity, specific measures, responsible departments, and management frameworks for addressing management risks were discussed and agreed upon to strengthen governance and resilience.

Significant matters decided by the Sustainability Committee are submitted and reported to the Board of Directors.

Furthermore, the approved and deliberated matters are communicated to all employees through department heads, who serve as sustainability leaders within their respective organizations.

As “One IDEC,” the Group will continue to advance its sustainability initiatives in pursuit of a sustainable society and the continuous enhancement of corporate value.
