IDEC Head Office Achieves Upgrade to “Excellent Stage 3” Certification Under The SEGES “OMA” Category

IDEC Corporation (Head Office: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City; CEO: Toshi K. Funaki) is pleased to announce that its Head Office has achieved an upgrade to the “Excellent Stage 3” certification label under the OMA—Operation, Management and Active Use of Green Spaces—category of the SEGES (Social and Environmental Green Evaluation System), a green space certification program operated by the Organization for Landscape and Urban Green Infrastructure (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation).

IDEC Head Office had previously been certified at “Excellent Stage 2.” This recent upgrade reflects recognition of the Company’s continued initiatives to create a workplace environment where people and nature coexist, to manage green spaces with consideration for biodiversity, and to promote ongoing environmental communication activities that foster connections with the local community.

*“Excellent Stage 3” represents the second-highest level within the five-tier certification system.
