Food Drive and Donation Activities to Support Local Children

IDEC provided support for children from households facing economic hardship through the Social Welfare Council of Yodogawa Ward in Osaka, where our head office is located.

Since 2021, the IDEC Group’s Social Contribution Committee has held regular dialogues with the Yodogawa Ward Social Welfare Council and has continuously carried out community focused support activities such as donating food items and educational materials for children.

For the most recent initiative, IDEC conducted an internal donation drive from March 2 to March 14, encouraging employees to contribute. A total of XX items were collected, including food products, learning materials, stationery, clothing, and school backpacks.

On March 18, IDEC delivered the donated goods gathered from employees to the Yodogawa Ward Social Welfare Council. These items are being distributed through the Council to families raising children and households experiencing financial difficulties in the community.

The IDEC Group will continue to promote activities that enhance community well being, while deepening employees’ awareness of social issues and fulfilling our responsibility as a member of the local community.
