The FA2J features powerful computing and communication functions in a small housing applicable for direct mounting on machines.

Analog input and output units allow for analog control of various continuous values such as temperature, flow rate, and pressure. Fiber and cable link units are available for building a total control system by linking a PC to a maximum of 32 FA2J stations. External power units can be used as power supply for 24V DC input units and sensors.
