Sunnyvale, CA, November 29, 2007 – IDEC has enhanced our 10.4-inch HG3F and 12.1-inch HG4F operator interface touchscreens! Upgraded models boast superior brightness levels of 450cd/m² and 400cd/m² respectively. Most major competitors with similar features can only offer a luminescence of 350cd/m² or lower. Why settle for less? IDEC HG3F and HG4F OI touchscreens are the best choice when you want control, power and speed at your fingertips while getting brighter images and sharper visibility on your screens
HG3F and HG4F are large screens with a slim design for high-profile applications that need the clearest screen possible, while saving you panel space and money. Key features include 8 MB of memory; support for major brand PLCs (over 100 types of controllers); built-in 10 BaseT Ethernet port to monitor and manage production activity from the office; and even support for Ethernet Protocols including IDEC (using our Webserver module), Allen Bradley Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP. These network protocols allow you to remotely monitor and control your PLCs.
Plus WindO/I-NV2 v3.31, screen creation software for IDEC touchscreens, supports Windows Vista, as well as Windows XP, ME, 2000, 98, 95 and Win NT v4.0. This intuitive software is used to create projects or programs that layout display screens for all IDEC OIs. Using this window-based program, HG3F or HG4F can display information from a PLC or be used to input data with virtual switches or keypads. Additional communication flexibilities include an OI Link, User Communication, 1:N Communication, Pass-Thru and more.
Approvals and International ratings include being UL listed for use in hazardous locations (Class 1 Div. 2), IP66, Nema 4, 4x and 13 ratings. HG3F and HG4F screens are also RoHS compliant.
