New Corporate Logo Moves IDEC into the Future of Automated Products
Think Automation and beyond …
Sunnyvale– IDEC Corporation is proud to announce we are celebrating 60 years of excellence and leadership in the industrial control market. To mark this important event, we are unifying our visual identity. The corporate name of our Japan headquarters will change from IDEC IZUMI to IDEC Corporation. As of November 1, we will be known globally as "IDEC."
IDEC will maintain the same high-quality products and services we have offered since 1945. We will continue to design and manufacture products that are reliable and user-friendly. Our new logo symbolizes that we are also looking to the future; the red color represents our energy and passion, while the design shows our commitment to innovative thinking and new attitudes. Furthermore, our new tagline, 'Think Automation and beyond…' characterizes our dedication to continue to stretch the boundaries of manufacturing automation.
Building on our past success in the industrial control market will give IDEC the chance to expand into the next generation of automation and traceability products, such as RFID, human machine interaction (HMI) and vision systems. We are confident that our enthusiasm and energy for the future will show not just in our new logo, but also in the quality of products and services we provide to our customers.
