HG2F Operator Interfaces Brighter, Slimmer & Now with CF card

Sunnyvale, CA – IDEC is pleased to announce the release of new HG2F (5.7” display) Operator Interface models that feature a card slot to support a Compact Flash card.
The addition of a built-in CF (Compact Flash) slot in the HG2F is a major enhancement. It will accept standard CF cards up to 512MB in size. A CF card can store multiple projects that can easily be transferred to another operator interface without using a computer. In addition, alarm and trend log data, recipe data, and hardcopies of the screens can be saved to a CF card. The IDEC HG2F with a CF card will have plenty of memory space to store valuable data and projects.
The HG2F 5.7” screen is available in monochrome or 256 color display and comes with 2 MB of memory. It has 192 touch regions and a replaceable backlight. The units are RS232/RS485/RS422 compatible and support IDEC PLCs, as well as many other major PLC manufacturers. The HG2F models are CE-marked, c-UL and UL listed for hazardous locations, and meet IP65 environmental standards.
The HG2F models are programmed using WindO/I-NV2 software. WindO/I-NV2 is easy and intuitive to use. Many of the processes are self-explanatory and guide you step-by-step as you configure the O/I. The help menus are simple, straightforward, and are a good resource for getting additional information. (The CF card is sold separately from the HG2F unit.)
