The Actuator Sensor-interface (AS-interface) is the simplest and most cost-effective of the PLC-based industrial-networking protocols. This type of field bus is primarily intended to be used to control sensors and actuators at distances of up to 100 meters.

AS-interface
  • MicroSmart AS-interface Master Module
    IDEC offers a plug-in AS-interface master module for the MicroSmart PLC that is easy to configure; it can also connect to up to 62 slaves. Configuring and slave monitoring can be done using LED indicators and pushbuttons on the front panel as well as WindLDR software.
  • PS2R Power Supplies
    The PS2R AS-interface power supply is available in 73W and 145W. The slim and rugged design makes the PS2R the most reliable power source for your AS-interface network.
  • SwitchNet
    Available in 16mm L6 and 22mm HW cutout, these SwitchNet pushbutton and pilot devices are easy to configure and maintain. The 22mm HW SwitchNet is available with 216 models and 16mm L6 is available with 277 models.
